Internal or external HDD?
Internal or external HDD? –
Hi all, i don't know if that's the right section of this forum to ask about that... but i'll ask anyway. ><
I want to install that new kmeaw FW to my old 60gb fat ps3. And of course, 60gb hdd is too small to have even 2 game on it if i won't delete all other stuff.
So i need a new hdd, but i don't know which one should i get.
I suppose external will be a bit easier to use, because my PS3 in the other room than my PC.
But i heard that compatibility list for external drives are not that good... or at least it was like that when i've checked some info, which was quite some time ago.
Price would be about the same i suppose, so i really can't decide.
I am using a 500gb external with two games which work (Blur and NFS HP).
However - I cannot get Red Dead Redemption (BLUS30418) to work because one of the files is over 4GB and my drive is FAT32 not NTFS. I've heard that the game works if put on the internal drive.
I would buy a larger internal drive instead of an external. Also, I'm not entirely sure so do correct me, but I think the read/write speeds would be quicker on an internal drive?
