Idea how to get new game updates working –

As we can decrypt game updates, i thought of the following solution:
1) download the update
2) Install it - i guess best way to avoid messing around is to install it without installing the retail game.
3) Go to dev_hdd0/game and find the installed update
4) Copy the files to your PC
5) Decrypt the 3.50/55 eboot.bin
6) Crypt it with 3.41
7) Create a PKG , containing all files
8) Install the game
9) Install the Update
Did i got something wrong?
This way should work...

So Game Update Eboot.bin is crypted with another key as retail eboot.bin ?

Correct. Retail Title Update EBOOT.BINs are npdrm encrypted so you can't unself it with current tools.

We need the npdrm key, which geohot says he has in his source, but he hasn't/won't release it and who knows if anyone else has the skills to get it.
