Sony have done this on purpose so any JB PS3's playing this game will have thier IP details sent to Sony HQ where they will hunt you down and prod your bottom.

It's fascinating how a new game can come out with an old FW. Perplexing and bewildering. A logical explanation will be most welcome.

Logical explanation would be game made before 3.60FW but released late due to marketing, release push backs, etc Also, you can't go to PSN with your JB so how would Sony get your IP? Even if you could why would you be stupid enough to get online with a jailbroken system?

Also "a little bird told me" game works discless, external (via MM split) and internal.

3.55 kneaw, last version of multman, tried in internal and external hd ... cleaned cache, fixed permissions ... disc in bay and not ... bdemu default and hermes ... just got black screen when starting the game ... neither the selection screen shows up ... any ideas ?

I am on rebug 3.55.2 and this also black screens for me. Lately a lot of previously working games on my system is black screening, not sure why. The only thing that happened recently was I applied the 1.04 update to mortal kombat and it said it was corrupted and wouldn't play, then urged me to update my firmware before the game will load.

I had the same problem just moments ago. i fixed it going to multiman then highlighting the ico and shadow of the colossus game and pressing the square button to go to the game setting. then all you have to do is go to the lower right and highlight the internal icon. then load the game and the game should work fine. hope this helps!

On Rebug 3.55.2 v3 using multiMAN v2.03.00 (SC-36) work without BD in drive. I have not setup anything in multiMAN except fix permisions.

You can't sign in to PSN as a user on old fw, but PS3 conecting to PSN without Your knowledge. With fw 3.60 Sony add new options to they rootkit but i don't know if they still connect to older systems (i have banned whole domain in my router and never before monitoring it).

That's why I turn off automatic updates and dont have the PS3 connected to the internet at all! If they can update my system without being connected to the internet hold me! cause thats very f*cking scary.
