    That i get NO sound from my backups....anyone else getting that problem?

    Not me. The only one of my games I backed up is my Madden 11 and the sound is fine

    mine played fine, although sometimes they seemed a tad lower than normal

    Sounds to me like the param.sfo got messed up, I'd look at that.
    It probably doesn't have any sound options checked.

    Nevermind, you guys were right. I went into audio settings and checked every single possible codec and sound works now ^_^. Thanks for the help.
