maybe someone do something with this problem
i'm looking for the sound files of KZ3, i've extracted the psarc and looked around in the USRDIR. anybody an idea where they could be? And is it possible to merge the extracted files to psarc again?
EDIT: meh iz stupid, they're in data_ps3LocalCachePS3/Lumps. so if the extracted psarc won't work and i'm not interested in playin kz3 in 21 different languages, is there a way to merge
the edited folders into psarc?
Sorry for not knowing English well enough to not use the google translator.
Attempting to extract the data_ps3.psarc the Kill Zone 3, begins to remove perfectly until after a while I miss a PSARC.exe error that has to close.
Reading in the window reads PSARC.exe;
Unhandled Exception: System.IO.PatchTooLongException: The specified access path or file name (or both) are too long. The full file name must be less than 260 characters and the directory name must be less than 248.
You know if you can solve this problem in the extraction?
Leyendo en la ventana del PSARC.exe dice lo siguiente;

data_ps3.psarc extracted without problems with this cmd line :
psarc extract -y data_ps3.psarc
well, ive tried absolutely everything to get it to run external, I got a little bit further with the multiman select + X method, started to go through all the intro screens and then black screened on me, I dont think that this game will work external at all.
I removed all the foreign language folders too so its only got english UK which shrunk the file down about 3.5gb - 4gb but thats it.
I cant remember the name of the tool I used but its an old one, a very old one, about 8 months old or so (It's on a different PC which I dont have access to for a couple more weeks) but this tool allows you to repack to a .psarc after its been extracted.
If I can find it il post where it is or if its freeware il post it on this forum, for now though I would honestly say, play from internal if you have space, if not play from original, its deffinatley worth it!
But that's not playing, when out in my country as safe as I bought the game, or I'll buy a bigger HDD to put my backups.
The topic for which I am doing this is to learn and research the topic of a rip or how to run games with bigger files of 4GB on a FAT32.
If you could be so kind to tell where that tool is to repackage everything removed after having made a rip, it would be fabulous.
Well I've already got extract whole. PsARC and copying those folders according to the manual says, but still the same, black screen: (
If someone got it working and from an external HDD that tells us as he has done.
i as well cant grt killzone 3 to load up, its loads the move screen but after that i just get the black screen. Im on Kmeaw 3.55 and using gaia, i have tried multiman but everytime i load up multiman i get a screen saying something about needing a BD drive, but my blue ray player is working perfect... dont know what the issue is here. This is the USRDIR folder with the psarc file extracted, now is this correct? or do i have to put all those folders into a another main folder?

I've tried to remove data_ps3 in front of the folders and see my external HDD and the PS3 have a 20sec activity as if it were loaded something, but then freezes :facepalm:
Edit: Wait a minute, it doesn't - that sucks :-( - http://community.us.playstation.com/...rt=15&tstart=0
I'm ripped Killzone 3 to my internal HDD, it's only 9GB (i ripped the videos). Don't stuck my internal hdd with desnecessary space (the game is good, videos too, but take much space on disc).
