I made a backup of one of my PS2 games and played the ISO from my flash drive with FMCB and OPL.
But that was on my old PS2.
I need to know how to play it on my PS3.
Is there a program for PS3 (like FMCB for ps2) that would allow me to do this ???

1. Have to be on 3.41 OFW, if you are on 3.56 FW or above there is absolutely NO way to downgrade apart from taking the console apart and hardmoding a chip to it.
2. Get Cobra USB key OR wait for JFW which will include the same features as the Cobra USB.
Cobra USB is currently the ONLY way to play PSX/PS2/PS3 backups simultaneously on any given console.
Again if you're are on 3.56 or above you WILL NOT be able to use this.
Yeah, I don't want to do anything to my ps3 that might brake it.
So I don't use MODchips.
I'd rather not have to buy anything so I guess I'll have to check out this "JFW" thing. (what's a JFW? )
As for "OFW" - If you're talking about the firmware (or system software) I'm at version 3.55
you dont need a jailbroken ps3 to play ps2 games, you can use swapmagic , you just have to leave the disc in i think
i asked about the usb memcard adapter but someone said it wouldnt work ,so i think that swapmagic is the only way
Sorry for this potentially repetitive and annoying question. Can I somehow use my saved PS2 ISOs using multiman's interface with my backwards compatible PS3? I have the original 60gb model with 4 USBs. I don't want to use swapmagic.
Thanks in advance for a simplified explanation if it can be done.
Sounds like you and me want the same thing.
Except for that "multiman's interface" thing.
Never heard of it.
