How do you update Open Manager without deleting all your ripped games?

Just a quick question. When the next update for open manager comes out, how would you update it without deleting all your ripped games on your internal drive?
From what I understand, if you delete open manager, it erases all your games. And I really don't feel like re-ripping all my Blu-ray games...

Go in via FTP or with a File Manager, create a new directory, and move all your games into that new directory.
After deleting and re-installing the OM update, just move all your games back into the original directory.

That's basically re-ripping all your games... twice....
If you're going to do that, might as well just do a re-rip. At least you'd only have to do it once.
I wonder if you can just install the new version of open manager over the old one, or would that leave outdated files?

The only time you lose your games is if you delete the manager before updating.
Managers will install over previous versions without deleting your games.

Not really - simply rename the original directory to something else - takes 2 seconds. then install the new OM and then rename the directory back to the original.
if the OM recreates the directory just delete it before you rename the original one back to its original name...did that make sense?

I've installed two OM updates on top of the previous ones... that works fine. You won't have a duplicate. No need to move your files around.
