How come Split/Second won't work?

It worked for me back then. I used either MultiMan or Gaia Manager, but I believe I was using a very VERY VERY old version of MultiMan. Obviously it's off the external hdd

Also, yes I did download the update 1.04. The problem in MultiMan is that it keeps on saying "Error occured while moving game to new location", even though I'm doing select+x. With Gaia Manager and Rogero it just stays on a black screen.

It's not working when copying? Have you tried any other hard drives? This can be annoying, but worked for me in a certain case.

Yes, there is a disc in there.

Don't worry about it. That's probably not the issue anyways, just a thought and example of what worked for me. Are you using split4G?

try the patch from here it worked for me last week after trying 3times,,,PS3Index - Your PS3 Database hope u get it working as i know how much it piss's you off i felt like stamping on pm ps3 and it worked off external no spliting needed well for me anyway.

Maybe some files have become corrupted. I had a problem with Shift 2 once, recopied it and it was fine. It doesn't have large files so its not a split problem. Update 1.04 is fine on newer Multiman's that's not a problem. Never had Multiman say anything like that, I think you should try & re-copy the game if you can. The only thing I can think of is corrupted files. Even maybe try deleting the game data & reinstalling the update. Maybe even try fix permissions in Multiman if you've changed firmware or moved it from somewhere else. That's all I can think of, hope it helps.

Oh my goodness. I've been trying to help you thinking you were having a problem with splitting the files of a game and transferring it. What a silly misunderstanding for me.

Anyways. Did it work before you installed the update?
