I am currently using Gaia Backup Manager to transfer my games from my laptop to my PS3 internal hard drive using FlashFXP(FTP client).
It keeps saying that it's idling and it doesn't seem to be transfering the file, the same goes for when I used Filezilla.
Is there something I'm doing wrong?
The folder I'm putting the game into is /dev_hdd0/ then into GAMEZ.

I've been told that multiMAN works well, but I already have games on Gaia.
Is there a way to put the games I have in Gaia into multiMAN?

    Please help answer either question.
    Thank you in advance.

Try Blackb0x FTP server, make sure you have your threads/connections set to one, try with/without pasv mode turned on. Multiman is setup to find games in any folder from any manager.

I am using Blackb0x FTP server.
I'm just having trouble transferring games through the client since it keeps saying that the connections are failing.

For threads/connections set to one: Edit -> Settings -> Transfers -> Max simultanious transfers = 1

For PASV mode: Edit -> Settings -> FTP -> Passive or Active (mine is set to Passive and Allow fall back is checked), if that doesn't work, set to Active.

It keeps saying that it's failing even with the Max simultanious transfers at 1 and the PASV set to passive or active and allow fall back to check.

If I use MultiMAN will I be able to transfer the games from Gaia to MultiMAN because I know that the files from Gaia don't show up on the regular Backup Manager.

multiman searches all the common folder names for games used by other backup managers...so you could put them in whatever folder gaia uses...
Kmeaw CFW + Multiman = WIN
    http://pastebin.com/5LMLb378 :working,and updated if one,same way,first try every time:
    1. Make sure all original files
    2. Click R1 in multiMAN let it do its thing
    3. Launch the game, when back at XMB click disc icon/game icon
    4. Update if theres one, and away you go
