    Hi Everyone,

The ebootfix application which comes in the MEGA pack of MultiMAN seems like a good way to install non-working games directly in XMB and by making shadow copies of the game folder in other needed filesystem folders.

However, I have tried to several "PKG" files for various games by following the exact procedure described in the readme file. Dropping the PS3_GAME folder on the ebootFIX application to let it generate the required PKG files.

P.S. Whenever I drop any PS3_Game folder on the ebootFIX file icon it open a command prompt (Windows 7 32-bit) and shows two messages of "file not found", but then it continues with the process and generates the PKG files for 3.41 and 3.55+ accordingly.

After that you are required to go in the file manager mode of multiMAN, browser to your game folder and press R3 while on the PS3_GAME folder selection to let make the shadow copied automatically. This step works fine.

However when I try to install the PKG file generated by ebootFIX on PS3 FAT (40 GB upgraded to 250GB) CECHH00 running Waninkoko v2 CFW via install pacakage file option in the XMB, the PKG file never installs and give the error 8xxxxxxx.

I have tried this for several game and several PKG file and none seem to install correctly. I am sure I am running the generated PKG file for FW 3.55+ (as the program generates separate PKG files for separate firmwares).

Has anybody every made it work correctly on Waninkoko v2 to be able to run the non-working games.

    Your guidance would be appreciated.

    Thanks.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
it works fine for me! I try this with Pinball hall of fame and it works great!!! With the waninkoko V2 you have to use the pkg for 3.41.

    Thanks,

Now this is straight confusion. Because Waninkoko v2 is ver 3.55 so naturally I would always try to run the PKG for 3.55+.

Do i need games with original Eboot or the modified for 3.41 Eboot to work using this method.

Anyways will try it soon and will post results.
