Has anyone got WRC working yet??

Just wandering as I have tried numerous methods and can't get it past the selection screen. As soon as i launch race/wrc driving school it freezes the machine. Need hard reset. I have tested normal/patched modes, hermes v1 & v2(don't have v3 as i have ps3key), OBM1.16, BM1.0, internal/external....sames result. If anyone has got this working, please post method. Thx

Some friends and i have tried a couple versions of backup though with OBM 1.6, hermes v3 (Disk in drive) external or internal i get "disk read error" following second training session.

I have heard claims this works in a couple of forums, though no mention of which jailbreak and i'm not sure if it's been tested thoroughly.

Hopefully someone finds a fix for this!

This title works, internally using Hermes V3 en OBM 1.6 in normal mode.
I can race using disk in drive and no disk but on both i get random disk error messages. Could happen when just started the game or after a few races...

Im using P3Free, playing from external HDD with BM 1.0 on a UK launch 60GB console.

After 3 stages I get Disc Read Error and sends me back to xmb.

From what I've played its shite anyway so wont waste anymore time on it.

im more concerned about future games working ie 3.42 and 3.50 games

Thanks, i initially tried my TI-84/hermes v3, OBM 1.6. I then tried my shite PSBreak v1.0 with BM 1.0 and the same disk read errors.

Like you have mentioned though, it is shite - i just don't like things beating me!

I'll stick with Dirt 2..

Game is great if your using a steering wheel. (It's even better on xbox 360)
but the graphics are bad. The cars do handle very well (it's bit like richard burns rallying), compared to dirt and dirt 2 the handling is way more real ...

When I played WRC it made me realise how good DiRT 1 & 2 were, even with the buggy stuff that I wasn't keen on.

Nice screenshots SupraGaz! I'll try with the disc out as mentioned in the JCL. I actually checked the JCL list before though did not notice the disk out mention!
