Hard Drives That Work With PS3
Hard Drives That Work With PS3 –
i noticed many question being ask about hard drives, asking which ones work so im posting this thread so that members can inform other members of which hard drives are compatible and which are best to buy for the ps3
I personally have 1TB Seagate Expansion and it works well.
Until my PSJB broke I was using Western Digital 2TB My book Essential.
For internal I have a 750GB WD SCORPIO BLUE 2.5
More than enough for me because I'm just putting PS3 exclusives and fighting games.
I own the actual disc btw.. I just like owning illegal'ish items.
The WD Scorpio Blue 750GB is not ideal. It has issues with stuttering and slow load times. I have one, and it's documented elsewhere in the forums.
I'd like to know the absolute best internal drive available as well.
I know but I'm wondering if it's luck or isolated problems because mine is fine.

Here is the thread you are on about... http://psx-scene.com/forums/f118/stu...99/index4.html (Stuttering on internal hdd)
It's not very conclusive though. Some like me have no problem with it and some do... Most are just scared off by the people that have had the bad luck. Then there are also stuff I didn't know about spindown and stuff..
It currently is the only one of that size that fits into the PS3.
