which hex are u using? could be u still have one without retail pkg install in jb mode

it has all latest updates/fixes included. all updates working with this one-fifa11 as well. probably the best one around atm, till hermes releases v4^^

That hex Apachai referred to eliminated the error code 80029567 problem I was having. I am also now using Drizzt84's Gaia Manager in place of Open Manager 1.16 but I'm pretty sure my previous PSGroove 1.1 was the culprit.

So far I have updated FIFA 11, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, and Valkyria Chronicles without incident.

wow this is working incredibly well...

quick question- i got burned when i upgraded from original BM to open manager as i deleted bm and of course deleted all my games...

i now have gaia installed as well as OM 1.16... they are both using the OMAN folder....if i delete OM will the games remain behind?

i have my games on my internal and was wondering if the game folder name matter when trying to update the game using this method mention in the first post..

for example instead of having the folder name BLES00916..i have madden11 as the folder name

Is there an Open Manager that works with updates?, apparently Covermanager r7 deletes some files or something? and does it look nice on a SDTV?

the only thing i did was i deleted all the game date before install the updates, and i ran all the games in disc mode. didnt try it disc-less

If you update a game, you will need to have allways a BR inside

I only update games that require BR inside

what are the propper network settings to set on FW 3.41 to allow game updates & internet access but to block PSN/FW updates..?

Ok so flashing with the newer hex OCAT posted Fifa now works fully for me with no need for modified files.
