    Hello guys

I've been trying everthing to understand what is the problem with this game but i can't figure out...

I copy the gta 4 to my external hd (external is the only way this game works), go to multiman load the game... start game ... install hd content ... all going good. But in random places the game freeze!

The strange thing is: if i use a pen drive instead of external hd the game do not freeze anymore!

    WFT?!

Make sure you use the BD mirror option when using external. Also known as select + x in older versions of multiman. Should work ok. Try deleting your game data first before retrying.

As far as I know, my ps3 has never had an undetected error.

    i've tried that.

when i am with external hd a ge usb001 and so with pendrive, so there's no diference between the sources...

in proprietes of folder in hd and in the pen drive a get same number of files and same size.

could it be the external hd case?

I doubt it. You may wanna try backing up the games on your external and reformatting it. HD's can be finnicky
