game works on 3.5, just make sure to delete any prior game data and even saves (i just moved to usb stick and transferred back and worked) . It does take forever to install the game data again, but it works.
It works on external 3.55 geo multiman
Fix for internal, tested on CFW 4.30 (mine), should work on 3.55.
ps3scenefiles (dot) com (shash) file (dot) php?id=1026
Is this for the complete edition?
Has anyone managed to play the game on internal on Rogero 4.40? I managed to play the EFLC from the Complete Collection but still cannot play the GTA IV. Any suggestion will be very appreciated.

firstly as stated i'm a noob, i was using TB then i decided to get off my butt and do this latest CFW update, learnt of rogero and boom done, problem was i found out my patched games don't work because of the altered eboots (pissed me off but its another story)
the game "GTA4 Complete Edition - BLES01128" that use to work flawlessly on my internal hdd was screwed and now getting that stupid loop with the scary music you mentioned
after googling for awhile i found a better site ps3crunch and found the solution, just google for it, you get a simple step by step guide, replace some files and it works again on internal
none of this external hdd B.S
p.s if you ARE one of those fools who prefer to play it on external hdd then internal, this apparently fixes it aswell. (my theory is playing games from external hdds shortens the life of the external hdd quicker)
note: i can't post links because i haven't reached 30 posts yet so don't say i'm lazy and not posting the direct links to the fix, it can't be helped
