GT5: New patch coming this week

Hi guys,
I'm sure you already know about this, but I have the bad feeling we won't be able to use that update because of a new copy-protection.
Do you know anything yet?
I can imagine that Sony puts new keys inside, like it was for 3.50.

I hope I'm wrong, though

P.S: I'm on 3.55 Kmeaw - I formatted my HDD, by the way

So you would think it would be enough to spoof the 3.56?
I thought the 3.56 keys would be different compared to the 3.55 keys!?
Well, when GT5 came out 3.41 users had no chance first.
Then it was possible by patching the eboot.bin, but the patches made it impossible to play it on 3.41, so they only way was a CFW.
We all know Sony fights as best they can...

that's because gt5 was released using the 3.50 sdk, if you're using 3.55 cfw then you don't need to worry about the eboot

They can (and will) use 3.56 Keys - and as far as i know we still cant decrypt npdrm packages, so with the new GT5 Update you will be kicked out of Online-Gaming

even if they ignore the 3.50/3.55o owners that don't play multiplayer and force a 3.56 firmware update to use the new patch (which isn't going to happen, but if it does) since we have the public key all we would need to do is decrypt the update and patch the eboot & game files manually just like we did in the past.

it's the games in the future that are going to be fully compiled with the 3.56 sdk is what's going to be the problem

confirmed still works with no problem. just installed the patch and playing online right now...
