GT5 FIX "An error occurred during the start operation (80010019)"
GT5 FIX "An error occurred during the start operation (80010019)" –

If you're experiencing the "An error occurred during the start operation (80010019)" message during the GT5 boot, just do the following:
1. Shut down your PS3
2. Remove your JB Dongle
3. Turn on the PS3 ***WITHOUT YOUR DONGLE***
4. Insert a BD Game
5. Launch It
6. Turn off the system
7. Retry using your dongle with your favorite backup manager (in my case OM 2.1I L1+L2 Patches)
=)

Couldn't get it working using this method.
Tried the latest versions of Rogero manager and Gaia.
Used every combination of patch settings.
Used Gaia to patch the PARAM.SFO
Updated the EBOOT.BIN with the patched one.
Using BCUS98114.
Using a PSjailbreak on a Fat PS3, firmware 3.41.
Still getting error 80010019.

Try Using Open Manager 2.1 I L1+L2 Patches
Additionally:
edit the PARAM.sfo to app ver 01.05 and fw 3.4100. overwrite it

I have this issued before when i use the PL3 3.55spoof.
I suggest try using Hermes 3.55spoof and load game with Multiman in patch mode. run the game from disc.
also delete the gamedata if you have created before.

I get this error too...
been following all the posts since the beginning but no luck. I got the eu version with the eu eboot.bin with an edited param.sfo to 3.41 with app ver 1.05 as mentioned above but still nothing. i get this error message with Need For Speed HP too which also has a modded eboot and param
im using hermes v4b with no spoof. have tried latest versions gaia manager, open manager and multimanager.
with and without patches
any ideas?
even getting the silver logo of death would be a step forward for me at this stage...
[EDIT] It appears i was not actually on the hermes v4b so I replaced it with the fixed V4 without spoof for my PIC board and both GT5 and NFSHP are now working. I didn't change anything else, therefore this is the sole reason I assume. GT5 runs in patched mode using multiman, haven't tested the others yet.
