    There is no working method..

Lets gather things we have tried.. so that noone needs to try the exact same as everyone else..

I have tried the usual, edit all bdvd to hdd0 etc. and got black screen.
have also tried editing the gameID in the PARAM.SFO.. also black screen.

    Try changing the GAMEID:

EDIT: My apologies. I got the same error the first time around, then I changed the .SFO file too. My bad.

c* can you make a tutorial,i want try your method,i have BCES00569 version. search on the web I have find 2 method the 1st don't work for me,and the second is in spanish i don't understand the method i post the method if you want.

    1st method

Installable Gran Turismo 5 on XMB.

Backup your Gran Turismo 5 disc using a PS3 FTP server to your computer. I recommend Blackb0x FTP.

Download this: MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service

Copy PKG to a memory stick and plug this into your PS3.

Install Package from XMB (requires 3.55 Geohot).

Run Gran Turismo 5 from the XMB, Don’t worry if it black screens and you can’t access XMB, it’s supposed to do this.

    Restart your PS3.

Open your FTP program again, and run your FTP server on PS3. Navigate to dev_hdd0/BCUS98114/USRDIR/

Copy the following files from your backed up GT5 disc: GT.VOL and the Movies folder. DO NOT COPY EBOOT.BIN. Leave the one that is already in there alone, this is the modified EBOOT.BIN that allows it to boot from the HDD.

Once this is complete. Exit your FTP Server and run the game from XMB. Cancel the update as this will overwrite the modified EBOOT.BIN and will stop the game booting and you will have to do the whole thing again.

    Have fun.

    no work for me

    2nd in spanish

    Es 1 buena informacion!

Prueben todos los que esten con el GT5 xD

de poner el USRDIR en la ruta
    como dice aca
    http://www.******.com/showthread.php...ll=1#post99927

    "/dev_hdd0/0GT5GAME/USRDIR"
    "/dev_hdd0/0GT5GAME/LICDIR"
    "/dev_hdd0/0GT5GAME/TROPDIR"

Si quieren tmb pueden copiar elresto de los archivos los icons ,PARAM.SFO a la carpeta /dev_hdd0/0GT5GAME/ entonces de esa manera les quedria 1 copia exacta de /dev_hdd0/game/BCES00569 pero en /dev_hdd0/0GT5GAME/

    Saludos!

    what do you think?

I know, I just assumed it would work for all games. Damn shame .

    @ milkymax

Sadly it looks like GT5 won't work :/
