Howdy guys. I'm using an NTSC-US PS3 slim with the Hermes 4b payload running GT5 (US version) in patch mode using the latest MULTIMAN with a disc in the drive. The game works perfectly except for the fact that I can't get the PSP connectivity to work to sync my cars. This is with a NTSC-US PSP-2001 running the latest 5.50 Prometheus with a US version of the ISO.

Does anyone have any information on this? I think i remember reading a while ago that the PS3 had checks in place to make sure that the PSP was on an official firmware and/or running a real UMD before allowing you to connect. I know that the aforementioned info applies only to game connectivity since remote play works fine with a PSP running CFW. Thanks in advance.

I have the same problem, mine errors out. I am now running Waninkoko's CFW and it's not working on that either (even though its still a variant of the PL3 jailbreak, just look in MultiMan and you'll see its PL3)……I wonder if using the original disk would work.

Of course it would.. Not to mention if a .pkg of GT5 could ever be made.

I had a similar issue on another game that connects to PSP. Enter the recovery menu on your PSP and make sure ALL plugins are disabled, especially anyone that interface with computer like the ones that let you display psp screen on computer
