I have a 500gb seagate free agent go in ntfs format.
I am using Multi man 1.17 also i change the usb file to 0x0bc2:0x2100:1 its information of my hard drive and copy to the console hard drive.
BUT after that i connect the external hard drive and press start+^ the console will be freeze and doesnt do anything.

ps3s only read fat32 format, ntfs wont work. there are certain programs that will however format drives bigger than 4gb

NTFS does work, but only for copying data to the internal drive and you have to use MM w/ the usb.ini file.
@OP: Ask dean in the MM thread. It's his incorporated driver, so he knows the most about it.

At the very least you would need to tell people what you have edited the usb.cfg to, how many partitions you have on your drive and where you retrieved the hex vendor and product ID from, before they could attempt to help you.
