Gran Turismo 5 Freezing problems

working fine for me ,not one single crash 9 hours of play time
had problems when on wanikoko ,reformated my hdd and went to kmeawe now all working fine
using rogero manager

yea see i'm betting it will lockup on u at some point...

it's gotta be the pl3 payload....i mean do any of these probs happen on hermes payload ?

Using the same Kmeawe and Gaia Gt5 has worked flawlessly for several hours, through several saves.

yea but still it can't be that u guys are doing something special to make the game NOT freeze on u.

do the freezes happen on cfw 3.41 hermes ? if anyone can confirm either way.

i'm still sayin it's the pl3 payload on our 3.55's thats causing it, but yeah i'm not sure.

Thats prolly the only thing i havn't tried.

I had the freeze issue on 3.41, and this was SEVERAL hours in to the game. I was nearly all done professional at that point, and then had the freeze issue. I had it before that using hermes 4b though, and when i started using pl3 it didnt happen for that length of time. Since then i had formatted the hdd, went to OFW 3.55, and then kmeaw in recovery, and no issues at all with freezing. Although i havent played the game as much since losing my save because i was mad, but it updated with no issue as well.

looks like i gave myself the kiss of death lol, was working fine, started it, played fine, no save problems, then tried a different game, then went back to it and it froze first time saving, maybe its a problem with the payload if you start a different game first then switch to it without turning off ps3, think im deffo gonna back all save games to hard drive in future

I had no freezes while I was on 3.41 Hermes V4. Of course I was played the 1.00 version of GT5. Then I was update my ps3 to OFW 3.55 then Kmeaw's 3.55 in XMB (no recovery). I installed GT5 with 1.05 update. I had 3 crashes at all. Then I ran at first fix permissions.pkg after that lv2 patch v4 and after that Gaia 2.04. Started GT5 and installed game data. (8GB). Now I can play GT5 for hours with no freezes or crashes at all. The only bug I found is there is no photo about cars in the garage but when you select one it's working. So possibly there is problem with accessing the HDD when installing and saving at same time. Try to install the game data.

Well i just had my first (and prolly last) freeze while saving in GT5.
My dear S2K is gone....
I hope there's a fix soon because i don't feel like starting all over again just to have my save erased again

using kmeaw 3.55 + multiMan when it crashed (didn't use lv2 patch before starting mM)

Tried fix perm + lv2 patch before loading, new kind of freeze : black screen but i can quit the game pressing the PS button...

3rd black screen during a loading...
Is this some kind of "anti-angry because you can't get the gold" thingy maybe ? xD

yeah i just spent a couple of hours playing fine
i even let the game update to 1.05 all went fine
playing for 2 hours
did all the first licences and half way thru second lot and BANG hung while SAVING

went bact to XMB and CORRUPT data

load of shyte payload

i say get hermes v4b implemented into this CFW so we can iron out some issues
saying that tho none of my other games im playing lock up like this

may b its just a piece of shyte game >!?!?!?
