Gran Turismo 5 Freezing problems

I'm finding that GT5 is just to unstable with these backup managers,

The game can freeze at any time, normally when its saving the game or loading tracks,

And when it does freeze it corrupts your saved game progress so you have to start from the beginning again which is very frustrating

I'm running GT5 updated to version 1.05 with the latest Gaia BM on Kmeaw 3.55 CFW

Anyone els having simler problems?

most prolly anyone in 3.55 using PL3 payload.
whoever tell u that he doesnt, he doesnt play the game usually

The Patch 1.05 allow you to save your savegame to a usb stick....

I have lost my save data in GT5 because I have ****in' freeze while saving.
But. Yesterday I backed up my whole HDD0. Can I somehow copy the backed up save over the corrupted one in PS3? Where I can find that save? Thanks


*** SOLVED. Thank God I can continue my process in GT5. The save from backup worked.

I also have the freezing problem on GT5.
I haven't updated it. Is it safe to update the game?
Also is it safe to update other games with CFW 3.55 kmeaw?
GTA IV doesn't loading after the update. I had to delete the game data from Game Data Utility to make it work.
I'm sorry but I have my PS3 for 2 days.

the only problem iv found with freezing for me is if im in the xmb guide whilst its saving, im hoping my save game aint corrupt cause it did it to me before when i loaded xmb to check a message

its a ppain in de a$$

locking up esp when saving as thats it game over u have to start over again grrrr

It is not the game. It is the payload that you are using. When you updated to the CFW you are on, did you do it through XMB? Or did you go to recovery mode? Also I have noticed that most of the people complaining about the freezing are using Gaia. Nothing against that BM, but try switching to a different one might do the trick. Also, Try using LV2 externally(where you have to run it first then launch your BM), instead of using a BM with LV2 integrated into it already.

I updated to the CFW (kmeaw) through XMB, no recovery mode. Could this be the problem?
I'm using the last version of multiMan and I don't use lv2 externally. If I want to use this externally, what should I do? Should I use a previous version of multiMan and which one?

I Have tried every possible combination with GT5 even the US and the EU versions with all 3 available CFW's with still no luck iv tried using multiman, gia and rodrego manager all at their latest versions and its still freezing at save screens and loading screens.

It must be the payload that has a problem with that game iv booted the payload (LV2) from the XMB and the integrated backup manager payload, god knows whats up with that game im just glad im not the only person with this problem, also tried all versions of the payload.
