No you cant because there is a fille bigger thann 4gb
No. You have to play from internal because it has a file larger than 4GB and NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! before you bloody start... NO... YOU CANNOT SPLIT IT AND HAVE IT PLAY ON THE EXTERNAL.
NO.
NOPE
NADDA

NOFRIGGINGWAYJOSE.
Yes, it will play with 3.55. The game requires 3.50 anyhow, so you're fine on that.
@ Sabin - not sure if it works or not or if you've already tested and it doesn't. I have not tested it as I have no need with a large internal, BUT the new Hmanager 1.5 from Hermes is supposed to be able to merge the split files on an internal cache allowing you to play those type of games from the external HD.
It was made for 3.41 users but I seen it on psxstore.com ported to 3.55. If anyone has had any luck with this I would be curious just to know if it works or not.
Anybody?

About Cached Games
------------------
You can launch games with splitted bigfiles from external hard drive (FAT32) the same way as the Open Manager (extension .6660xx).
These games must be placed in folder "GAMEZ" typing before the game name the character "_ ", used in Open Manager to mark a game as non executable ("Marked as non executable"). You can add this mark using the function "Test Game" in a game that contains splitted files. For example: /dev_usb000/GAMEZ/_BCES-00000
When you press CROSS to run the game, the message "Marked as non executable. Trying to install in HDD0 cache" will be displayed in case you do not have a cache entry, showing then "Want to copy from USB00X to HDD0 CACHE?"
If you answer YES it starts to do a free space test of the HDD0 (if there is not enough space it will show the "Delete Cache Tool" for you to choose entries to delete, displaying the required and the available space on your hard disk. Remember to leave enough space for the PS3 system).
When it is done, it proceeds to install the bigfile in the cache. Only one bigfile per game is supported.
Later, you can delete the cached BigFiles pressing START -> "Tools " -> "Delete Cache Tool" if you want.
The advantage of launching a game from external hard drive is that the size of its bigfile, usually takes much less space than the complete game (and also requires less time to install the game).
And I'm just now hearing about this.... because?? I see Hermes released the source for 1.5, so perhaps someone will end up porting it to 3.55? I'll keep an eye out, but yeah - that looks and sounds BRILLIANT. Hopefully Dean can take a look at the code and, maybe, incorporate it into MM![]()
I guess it is already ported to 3.55 says the psxstore.com...i found it on the site for 3.41 and 3.55...Im on hermes 3.41 so I havent tried 3.55 but 3.41 works good. I like the manager, kind of retro, loads hermes payload automatically. Works great. Like i said, still havent tried the split file cache thing but sounds sweet if someone needs to use it...Sounds cool though. Let me know if you try it out.

cause im kinda noob. Can i play it on external or not???And if yes is any manual that i can read to do that?i mean using other programs etc.tnx a lot again!![]()
