Oh okie.. i have a doubt. Howdo we update theinternal hdd of ps3. Just attach a laptop hdd ??

No it doesnt work that way aneesh. You need to get a program called Blackbox ftp 1.2 for your ps3 (PKG) and then your install a ftp client on your PC such as filezilla or coreFTP. Then just simply open the blackbox program it will show you a ip adress that you will have to enter into the ftp client. Thats all now you can transfer your data to/from ps3

@backup - U telling about transferring files from pc to ps3thro cross over cable via ftp. Iam concerned about internal hdd of ps3. Mine is only 40gig. because i see that few good games aren nt compatible with external hdd

Yes just get a normal laptop HDD and put it in there, that's all there is to it.

Aneesh- I think you will either have to use a external HDD or upgrade your ps3 HDD.
Most games work with external HDD. I think thats your only options. Here in germany 1TB external drive sells at 70 euro and a 500gb ps3 drive sells at 60-70 euro

Derr- I think that normal HDD dont fit in there, dont most laptops use 3.5 HDD instead of 2.5??

I ripped the US Version to internal multiple times and had no success.

I acquired the EU version now I need to know where to put on my external hard drive?

Can someone provide me the directory structure of God of War III please?

I know the structure depends on which file manager you are using because different managers use different folders...I am using the latest open manager and Gaia 1.1.

edit: Think I found it. GameID: BCES-00510
The folders are as Follows: Either GAMEZ or BDRIPS

OK..I am requesting a STICKY for Backup Manager Game Directory Structure for Internal and External Hard Drives. There are so many Backup Managers I am pretty sure I have read that there is one that backs up to an "L" word. ...LAUN12345

I think a folder this Directory structure and GAME ID should be an instant Sticky if someone were to post?

No dude, laptops use 2.5" hdd's and pc's use 3.5"s since their bigger. PS3's also use 2.5"s.

Yeah i feel the new open manager 2.1d is great . But for some reasons games are not showing up in gaia manager since morning.But they show up perfectly on bm1.1 and om2.1d

It took me 1 hour and 14 minutes, Gaia manager 1.0 on external, with hermes 4.0b payload. U.S version fyi, which is 41gb
