I tried with the US version it just kicked me back to the XMB

ive been workin on this game for a few days now also using US version, ive gotten black screens and xmb boots and nothin else so far... got many other games working flawlessly but this ones a pain

will keep trying and post the pkg soon as its workin

EDIT - one thing i have noticed in the gow3 eboot is that it has a lot of references to the "Z:" directory. not sure where this actually is, wether its some sort of partition on the bdvd (in which case it would have to be changed) or just some partition on the hdd for cache or something. would be interesting to change it to the hdd if its not already what its pointing to, just have no clue what the hdd's volume label is :P

EDIT 2 - been messing around in the eboot, changed pretty much every reference i can find in there, even changed every Z:/ ref to dev_hdd0 deleting null bytes to maintain the file size, but always get XMB kick. from what ive learnt, this means its not even finding the game files it needs, so somehow im still not pointing them into the right direction :<

Yes, the other games will working... Thats my only Game which will not working!!!

From all counts and reading various forums have found this to be one of the hardest games to get going. Lucky not all games are like this, but then again if it was it would get the real big brains working on this.

GOW3's old now, so not so much in demand. I would be impressed with whoever cracks it and how.

tried booting it through waninkoko's using rogero and waninkoko patched with geohotz with multiman with both original / patched eboots and it still just kicks to xmb... tried every ref i can find in the param, and the elf and this game just doesnt want to boot

What a f**** is that!!!! Why that, other games work just fine!!!! I have read that the game work with waninkoko... You say it doesn´t work??!

When I update to waninkoko, can I play my directboots further? I´am now on geo. Is it a brick risk with the model: CECH2104b???

Just work all games with waninkoko? How do I make the backups, only with Multiman or can I install packages again?
