God of War Collection Help!

i extract both pasrc file and place it on my external hdd. but it stuck after choosing which gow1 or gow2.
can anyone help???

What directory are you placing them in?
Are using multiman or PKG method?

He's actually trying the PSARC extraction method, which I'm not sure if it works with the GOW collections. I believe there was a thread about this awhile ago. Anyway, you're better off using Iris Manager and backing up the game to external as split files. Iris will handle using the internal cache of the PS3 for rejoining the split files so you can play it from your external.

Summary :
--> Through the multiupload link you'll find PKGs files and a readme.txt file which tell you :

" 1) Install 'GOW1_BCUS98229' PKG file for God of War.
2) In your game backup find 'gow1.psarc' file and transfer it to /dev_hdd0/game/BCUS98229/USRDIR/gow1.psarc
3) Install 'GOW2_BCUS98230' PKG file for God of War II.
4) In your game backup find 'gow2.psarc' file and transfer it to /dev_hdd0/game/BCUS98230/USRDIR/gow2.psarc

Thats all! Tested, games work from XMB on retail nonJB 3.41 and 3.55 FW.

No matter about "retail nonJB" my ps3 is JB Kmeaw'ed 3.55

Extract /PS3_GAME/USRDIR/GOW1/exec/gow1.psarc

And move the extracted folders: _movies, vfs and wad to exec. Remove the gow1.psarc from the exec (do not delete it until you get it working).

the exec folder will end with argv.txt and 3 folders:
\PS3_GAME\USRDIR\GOW1\exec\_movies
\PS3_GAME\USRDIR\GOW1\exec\vfs
\PS3_GAME\USRDIR\GOW1\exec\wad


Extract /PS3_GAME/USRDIR/GOW2/exec/gow2.psarc

And move the extracted folders: _movies and wad to exec. Remove the gow2.psarc from the exec (do not delete it until you get it working).

the exec folder will end with argv.txt and 2 folders:
\PS3_GAME\USRDIR\GOW2\exec\_movies
\PS3_GAME\USRDIR\GOW2\exec\wad

In multiMAN 1.16.15, select the "God of War Collection", press R1 to reset game folder permissions and start it with Select+X

i could never make those games to work...
started fine but the first one always hanged at first video, only heard some arrows flying... and the second game alway froze at the video after killing the collosus, again the first ingame video
Had to copy the psarc files to the ps3 and there i could end both games (the first one was epic)
