I believe Geohot's was created with the prevention of piracy in mind, so it's harder to get backups working on it.
Waninkoko's works with backup managers to boot up games.

You can't go straight from Geohot 3.55 to Waninkoko. You'll need to revert to the official firmware, then upgrade to Wan.

one bricks machines the other does not.
yeah wani CFW was built with the playing backup ability in mind, while geohot's is completely the opsite.

yes, and its not some models, it bricks all models, as far as i know, the problem is, its random, you can successfuly flash 3 machines in a row (the same model) and when you try to flash the 4 (still the same model) it bricks, its random.

Where did you get that from?
There have been no SLIM model PS3 bricks reported. The worse that happens with the slims is random freezing during XMB activity.
Also, NOT ALL PHATs are bricking. Only some, even though they have the 256mb NAND.
    Need an Original EBOOT???
    Use your disc...

My serial ends with CECHLO4.. Have no idea if it has 256mb NAND or not.. Has there been any brick reports on this one yet?
