OK, just keep this on topic and simple.
If you find a game with a file bigger than 4GB that will not play from an external HDD post the title in here. Feel free to add any requirements to play from an internal HDD, I.E. Patch/payload, BUM, etc.

Dead Rising 2 works perfectly from my external, so no 4gb files for this one i guess.

some of these games can be played off an external. i have a friend whos playing an american version of gt5 off an external. just the luck of the draw i guess.

tales of graces f has no file over 4gb... runs fine from external.
