Game Tells Me To Update

Game ""Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" tells me to update, i press O then it shows logo, and black screen, then goes to XMB.

Once again,

PS3 games have no region locking. And even if they did, you failed to mention the game version in your OP.

well ill try to help out, i had this happen to me with borderland. i fixed it by having a original game in the drive

Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare

I've ran permission on it, on multiMAN, pdate screen comes up, then kicks back to XMB
Tried to launch from gaia, where it freezes to a black screen.
Ran lvl2 patch .pkg

Idk what to do.

I have a US PS3, it's a EU game.
