I have GT5 on my internal and I also installed the game data on internal. I want to know the following: if a game is on internal hdd, it is recommended to install the game data or not (GT5 game data is quite big, almost 7 gb)?

if it is optional to install game data then just say no as it only creates new space and just directs the game to pull the data from another directory. since the data is already on the hdd if a game ever asks if u want to install data just say no, some games have mandatory installs because they are programmed to look for the data in that specific place.

game data is in hdd0/game/ folder while your games r in hdd0/GAMES/ so if u have the option dont install and let the data be read from the GAMES folder. it will be all the same since this option was designed so u dont have to read from bd drive
