No really man I am not saying I won't be going to 3.55 but I think priorities matter and that should be a factor for people.

1. I would say if you don't go online or give a fig about PSN then who cares. Seriously what function does 3.55 bring you. I didn't brick my BRDVD when downgrading, so I use it for that, I love PS3 media server on PC as it transcodes everything, and I am playing all the games I own and don't with no crashes. I am olddd DOS and Linux guy so FTP and overwriting an eboot doesn't seem hard to me. So PSN is a big factor and I think most people in here would say that is why they are most tempted to update to 3.55

2. Disc or Discless. Look some games do work with PL3 discless but many do not.....where Hermes on 3.41 gives you what like 80-90% discless for games known to work. So until the CF gets the discless payload worked out better I think for people with broken drive that want to play lots of games 3.41 hermes still a better choice ATM.

Hey, I like choices so it is all good.......and we are still in the early phases of CFW. I imagine we will have something really good and stable before too long but then $ony will bring on 4.0 in the summer and the scene will play catch up again. Everyone knows PS3 is 0wned now but maybe $ony will bring out refined hardware to enhance security though I doubt it at this point unless they are serious about PS3 being 10 year platform.

Not to get off point....which is there for users like me are still benefits from 3.41 JB. I am just trying to give some ideas of pros and cons to those on 3.41 currently and considering moving up or not. I would expect next firmware to strike back....not saying it will matter for long but expect them to do something like AP 2.5 or some enhanced disc checking as well as something PSN averting as well......the war wages on (thankfully)

Hi can play all games, GT5, Mass Effect 2, AC Brotherhood and so on..

The only game that I have problem with is Dragon Age Ulti Ed..
When is says START, I press starts but nothing happens.. Nothing else comes up, the games hasn't freeze.. Its just, nothing..

Anyone else having the same issue?
Have used FTP, done it twice. Same problem, have the new 2.05, same problem.. I read that you need to play it from external HD... True?

You know, I kind of agree with you there and have no real use for PSN, but I do have to say, it's nice to be able to turn my ps3 on via my control again ")

And yeah, diskless is probably the only thing is miss ATM... Unlike game updates via PSN, I hated having to find the correct game update to work.

I do miss 3.41s simple install... There was none! Haha,

Anyway, upgraded all of my consoles to 3.55.... I'm happy as ****, let's just hope we see some more homebrew comming out... N64 anybody?

damn.. 2.05 is STILL a crashfest for me... it worked the first 4-5 times fine, now it began crashing the ps3 again...

LOL about the power up.....I agree tottally I hate having to get up and walk across my large media room to turn on PS3.

It sounds like Giai 2.05 with new syscall is a step in the right direction for stability and those with working BR-D.

I am trying to finish up a few games and then will likely upgrade if most of you are having good results.

It's my first post so please be gentle in case i f...d up somewhere

I'm using a 3.55 kmeaw with gaia 2.04 and it's more or less ok, i still have to have my ext hdd recognised but that's another problem.

I have a few questions and i have read the last 10 pages without finding the answers...

1) I've seen that kmeaw has released today a lv2.pkg v6, does gaia include this pkg, or v5, or anyother ?
2) Can I have on the same ps3 installed multiman, gaia or is it bad to have several BM installed ?

So far nothing more to ask, thanks for the help...

SO since gaia does not include the lv2.pkg v6 which has been released for my FW should I run it manually ?

A sort of "autorun" would be great for the PS3

Discless mod is removed

Of course It's easy to remove something than try to fix it...

So me and the other people who has dead lens are cant take any update and try to play whit frezeez every 5 minute
