Very nice indeed, great work! The background reminds me of a theme tomtom posted at logic sunrise a while back.

I think this is your problem. They should work if you rip them using Gaia.

The only reason I JB my PS3 is because my Blu-Ray Rom has died. I understand the need for a working ROM in order to rip games from disc but I unfortunately can't do that. I already have quite a few backed-up games already, courtesy of a friend who ripped them for me. The only reason I got the one's to work that I did is because of the install packages and copying the game data to the correct folders. They work through the XMB no problem. I would like them to load via a BM though. Now my question is. Can I rip the games I have on my computer through Gaia via and FTP??? And then have them work?

Hey guys was having tons of problems but now figured out the solution and haven't had a problem since!!

OFW 3.55 -> Kmeaw CFW 3.55
Gaia v2.04--- INSTALL THIS
FIX_PERMISSIONS_Waninkoko_Kmeaw_CFW_3.55.pkg---INSTALL THIS

Put game you want to backup into PS3.
Open Gaia Manager.
Copy game.
Once finished exit Gaia Manager.
Eject Disc that you just backed up.
**Important** Run Fix permission, and then it will return you back to XMB.
Open Gaia manager now and select the game you backed up.
Returns back to XMB DON'T LAUNCH GAME YET!!
Put in any game except the one you backed up.
Now the game you just put into the PS3 will be the game you backed up to Gaia.
Launch game.
Done.

To get the best out of Gaia v2.04 always use a disc before launching backup and always fix permissions after you have backed up a game and want to return to Gaia manager to launch the backup.

This fixed all black screens and freezing for me. Works flawlessly! FOLLOW THESE DIRECTIONS EXACTLY AND CAREFULLY!

I still crash on loading GTA:EFLC and AC:Brotherhood
I have to activate discless mode , because my bluray drive is dead :s
Any reported case of that 2 games working on Kmeaw CFW/Geohot patch with Gaia ?
All original files (eboot etc...).

To have the best compatibility you have to have a disc in the ps3. If you bluray drive is dead than this is probably the issue because its most likely not booting it. That's just my theory. I have no dev experience.

Some stats:

1 day : v.2.01 - 7 freezes in 5 hours;
2 day : v.2.02 - 14 freezes in 5.3 hours;
3 day : v.2.04 - 8 freezes in 5.1 hours;

Play one game - Fallout 3 GOTY. (discless). All freezes spawn randomly, in-game or simple in XMB.

lv2 patcher - very unstable thing.

I'm on 3.55 and can't downgrade to 3.41 yet. Still waiting for adaptation Hermeses to 3.55. You lucky one if has 2 PS3
