not only did that not help, but Gaia won't even boot anymore, just hangs on black screen... So confused, as games that USED to work, no longer do.. I've managed to get Three working and thats Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, Madden 2011 and Wolfenstein... COD Black Ops, NFS HP, do not work

perhaps a noob question but what do i use if my backups are in luan1234 or w/e.
the options in the zip are only BDRiPs, GAMES and GAMEZ.

and is there an FTP program that can move files from folder to folder in the ps3 now, without having to move to computer and back into the wanted folder? it was a limitation from a while back and im not aware of any new updates to FTP apps

This worked wonders for me! I only got a black screen before upon loading of game but with the fix mentioned above, games do boot.

The PS3 does freeze a ton, though. either exiting back to xmb, or loading a game, but when it does load it plays great.

Any fix on the random freezes?

Does this new version of Gaia include any anti-PSN-reporting features, like clearing your list of previously played games on exit, or spoofing itself as a different game ID (no "SpiderDude is playing Gaia Manager!")?

this is something i would like to know also.
this is a way easier process than copying games for the 360 ever was, but easy does not mean safe.
while i do prefer xbl over psn, i still don't wish to be banned anytime soon, and its like like there is a abgx360 to run our eboots through. i would love to know what exactly sony sees when we run backups, and what some GODLY dev could do to fix this.

I havent any problems though. But.
While trying to launch Uncharted 2 - I got 3-4 black screens. Then frozen in title screen. Then when tryed to start a new game got a 8002920A error when game created a save. Then I clicked again to overwrite that and it worked.
And a freeze while watching ingame movie.
So random, I thought I will never play this.

They all save into LAUN123456 or whatever the default for Gaia has always been. I believe the choice is mainly for where you want to store them on external. In case I'm wrong, the default I've always installed is the GAMEZ package.

No, it's not stealthed. And, stealthing the BM hasn't been proven or disproven to work. Mathieulh has said in the past that he could run a program that's title is, "SONY IS THE WORST COMPANY EVER" or whatever he wanted, and Sony would never notice. Take that as you will. I personally run Rogero 7.8 stealthed if I'm getting online. BTW: it doesn't hurt to have multiple BM's installed at once. Gaia and Open Manager are the only 2 that have static paths. Both Rogero and MultiMan's paths can be edited in their configuration for where they look for games from.
