best way with filezilla, is connect to PS3, browse to game, rightclick and hit "add files to queue", wait a bit, u'll see it adding all files
then rightclick the first file in the queue and hit "procces queue"
passive mode
1 connection( check settings)

I should have clarified.
FileZilla has a notoriety for not working properly with a lot of users PS3's (mine included). I have ran into issue after issue with FileZilla and my PS3 (on other FTP journey's, FileZilla works fine) and eventually switched to WinSCP, which I have not had a single issue with.
So, if you're having problems connecting with FileZilla and do not wish to dissect the issue, try a new FTP program.
