FTP Server NOT Functioning

Hi,

Can someone help me with my problem. Im using 3.55 w/ multiman. I was trying to use an FTP server so that i can transfer files from my pc to my ps3. But none of the FTP server is working, I tried using a couple of servers but non of them work. It always says "An error occurred during the start of the operation". Does any one knows how to fix this?

HI I got the same problem, just got a ps3 i have jailbroaken. The Blackbox application wont start. Is there something i should do first?

oh. and multiman says something about BDEMU is missing. but i am right now backing up a ps3 game (real bluray disc) and its going fine.

is it k i use your thread? kinda same problems

Blackbox is old just use the intergrated MM FTP Server . Use FileZilla to FTP PC>PS3.

And for the BDEMU. Look Under MM Thread.

you have the wrong package, this one should work (Kmeaw CFW 3.55): http://www.ps3free.org/Downloads/Col...w_CFW_3.55.rar

BlackBox is in fact more reliable, for example it doesn't crash like MultiMAN with long path names.

so what should i do guys? can you tell me step by step? im still new to this jailbreak thing.. thanks..

Hey I got it working ! so here what you should do:
1. download filezilla and install (its free)
2. put your multiman on is ps3 and look in settings that FTP is enabled.
3.now turn filezilla on and now you see a screen where you should write in a username and password and a port. IDk i just looked from google and found that username should be: FTPD12345 leave password blank and in port you write 21 or 20 (i used 21 or you can try whitout) oh and write your ps3 ip adress in the first slot (see in your ps3 system information)
4.then you should be able to connect to your ps3 hdd (it might need a few tries) SEE THAT YOUR FIREWALL DOES NOT BLOCK THIS!
5. now in the right section should come up a list whit folders, chose dev_hdd0. then GAMES. here you want to copy your game folder ( the whole folder, not just the files)
6.wait for it to transfer
