Hi,

I had geohot's 3.55 installed and decided to go back to the OFW.

So, I read somewhere that all I had to do was restart the PS3 on recovery mode, and choose Install updates, so I downloaded the OFW from Sony and went there.

At first it checked my pendrive for updates, and found it, then started installing.. then, after it finished, for some reason it went back to the update screen, but it was a little different this time (actually a LOT different, with a static background and the loading sign was like water), and it tried to install another update, but when I read on the agreement terms it said it was firmware "1.4".

I just accepted everything and it installed, then I got back in OFW 3.55

But if it did go all way back there, couldn't I just have used a pendrive with 3.41 on it?

I'm a total noob at this, but I was just wondering.. so pardon me.
