Final Fantasy 13 freezes at logo, Help?

Hey, I have FFXIII MRTC-00003 and everytime I boot it it freezes on the Square Enix logo screen. I'm running geohot CFW 3.55, and the game is split on my external HD. I can't transfer it over onto the internal because the game is 40 GB and my internal is only 37 GB with nothing on it.

I've tried multiman and Rogero, it still has the same problem. Is there any fix for this? I can't figure out what the issue is and can find only very little info. online.

Do you guys think switching over to KMEAW will help ?

I switched over to KMEAW and tried all the different back up managers, but none of it worked. I managed to transfer the game to then internal HD, but no luck there. I also tried to mod the EBOOT file, not sure if I did it correctly but that didn't work either.

Is there anyone that could give me some advice?

I've read someone who had the same problem who said he needed to download a modified eboot and place the white_data under FF13GAME folder of the hard drive. Another person said missing half of the necessary files to actually run it (sfb, eboot, sfo files etc).

I have no idea where to go from here

I haven't tried Final Fantasy, but I would say try Iris Manager as it is the only manager that does split files from external as far as I'm aware. It works with resistance 1 and 2 split on my external. If that doesn't work an hdd upgrade would be your best bet in my opinion.

Same problem here, freeze at squareenix logo, fw rebug 3.55.1, internal with multiman and gaia.

Chances are you guys have bad rips from your disk, because I've put 30 hours into my FF13 backup. Works with both Internal (any BM) or external using Irismanagers bigfile.

The funny thing is when i was in cfw 3.41 i played the game(MRTC-00003) with the same copy, now with rebug freezes -.- , original eboot, so the problem is in cfw rebug.

ps: also tryed with an pkg and the copy ps3_game white_game thingy..no go.

I think you're right and it was a bad rip. A file had to of been corrupted somewhere. I tried everything to get the backup to work correctly and nothing worked.

I backed up one myself using iris, installed it to the internal cache, and now it's working fine.

tryed with a new copy and gaia dont work, then with iris and after i did a test game in iris(split the big file), the game runs! so far so good.

Load it with iris, then run it from a pkg, use the one with infinite cp.

I have the same version of FFXIII from common torrent. I've fixed this problem on my ps3 (cfw 3.55 kmeaw, multiman manager)
First it also freezed at Square-Enix logo. I tryed many modifications but finally I've used Final Fantasy XIII Max CP 3.55 and it worked (copy white_data only from GAMEZ to GAME's USDIR)
