Final Fantasy 13, BCAS25005, freezes on Square Enix screen

I installed the pkg, which is, the right pkg.
Then I set up the FTP, copied all the files over to that folder the pkg created, with the exception of the files which were already there.
Ok 40 gb later, I launched it. Said problem: Starts, freezes at Square Enix screen: nothing happens, but PS button for XMB still works.
reinstalled the pkg, (warning: already installed: installed anyway), same problem.

obviously I have just one folder: the BCAS25005 folder.

When I did all this with a different game, vanquish, it started installing the game on first start, which also gave me a BLES00927-VANQUISH folder

but at first you should have only one folder, right?

whats missing here or going wrong ?

You eboot needs the white_data folder somewhere else, until you find out where it goes it will keep doing that.

I would have that, by now somebody knew where to put it for final fantasy =D
being a popular game and all

well maybe it needs a PS3_GAME folder or such, Im gonna keep trying
