Hey guys, I've been playing FIFA 11 a lot lately on Virtual Clubs. I think most people will agree that the EA Online Pass is bullshit, my friend gave me his FIFA 11 disc in exchange for Bioshock 2 and you can use the code once, then you have to buy a code for 12 dollars. It's not a lot of money, but since there's a chance you'll get banned from PSN, it could be a waste of money.

So my trial ran out. I tried making a new PSN account and to my surprise the trial just restarted. I could play 7 more days. So that's the first thing you do, make a new account on your PS3 and a new PSN account. But now, your Virtual Pro is gone, and you have to start over. But think twice!

First I tried copying over the savegame to my new account, but FIFA detected it and deleted the save.

What you have to do is start FIFA 11 once with your new account, set your controller settings and favourite club etc. Quit the game, start Blackb0x FTP, navigate to dev_hdd0/home. You should see a number here, depending on how many accounts you have, one should be your old account (the lowest number) and the other your new account (highest number). (if you're confused about which user is which, delete every user on your PS3 except your old and new one). Navigate into your old account (in my case, the folder name was 00000009) and then go to the folder 'savedata'. Copy the folders 'BLES010590000', 'BLES010590100' and 'BLES010590200' to your computer. Now go back on your FTP client to the dev_hdd0/home folder again and open the NEW account folder (in my case, it was named '00000010') and go into 'savedata' again. Find 'BLES010590000' OR 'BLES010590100' OR 'BLES010590200' (any will work), open it and copy PARAM.sfo to your PC.

Now, what you have to do is open the PARAM.sfo you just copied from the new account folder with a HEX editor. Now you have to look for a number, it should be something like '183ha83gj6a46h5m', copy this number. Open the folder 'BLES010590000' that you've copied from your OLD account and open PARAM.sfo with a HEX editor again. What you have to do now is, replace the codes with the one I just told you to copy. There should be 2 codes that kinda look like this '183ha83gj6a46h5m' but it's different from the other PARAM.sfo (the one from the new account). Replace both codes with the one you copied earlier. Do this for the other folders too (BLES010590100 and BLES010590200). Upload the folders back to your PS3 when you've done this (to dev_hdd0/home/00000010/savedata, the new account).

And tada, your savegame will load without problems and you can play as your Virtual Pro again, with all accomplishments intact. It's not too much effort actually and it's pretty easy to do, I tried to explain in detail. I hope this is helpful for at least someone.

And these procedures should be the same for the USA version of the game, just different folder names. Shouldn't be too hard to find them.

Yeah I had to do this with ACCOUNT_ID in param.sfo for a few games and other variables. It's a pity you have to keep signing up however. If only you could reset the trial per account basis would be much nicer.

Someone should put the save on a psn account, don't play the game any, come back in 7 days when the trial has expired and copy the save to their hdd.

Compare the original save to the save that's expired and find what changed in the hex.

Might not be that simple but worth a shot.

I doubt that it's saved locally, I'm pretty sure it's saved on the PSN/EA servers.
