FF13 Save Game Not Recognised
FF13 Save Game Not Recognised –
01-29-2011,09:06 PM
Hi,
After just playing FF13 a few hours ago and saving as I usually do, I tried loading it up now and it says no saved games found!
So I checked the "Saved Data Utility" folder and my saves are still there.
Only thing I done in between is play original Fifa11 (original disk) and copy a bunch of files from usb to the "Saved Data Utility" folder (Pro Evolution Soccer Edit files).
Any idea how I can make FF13 recognise the saves?
I did try a test save game file where I quickly made a save via new game...the thing is, my old saves appeared when saving the new game, but still when I tried loading only the new game save appeared.
I'm on Wutang 3.55 and using Gaia Manager (I did try Rog and Multiman too).
Edit: I've checked the ACCOUNT ID (in the PARAM file) for the new and old save and it's the same ID. I thought maybe it would have changed.

I had that happen to me but it was with the game gt5. This only happened to me once and the only way for me to get around it was to use a previous save I had backed up and it somehow loaded. If you have an older save try getting that to load, and then later try overwriting it with the latest one you have. Other than that I don't know what causes it or if doing that will help you but I was able to then get my save detected and working. It didn't matter what manager I used, the save just refused to load as well.

Thanks.
What I done was make a new save -> copy my old and new saves to usb -> delete the saves from ps3 -> copy saves back to ps3...and my saves were there!
It's weird why they went in the first place.
I hope this helps anyone else in the future.

Yeah I have no idea what causes that, but at least we can fix it which is what matters
Maybe this problem can be addressed in later manager or cfw versions but I don't think I can reproduce it again.
