F1 2010 - game fix?

Hey people,

I cant seem to get f1 2010 working

It just doesnt work for me..
I've got Kmeaw 3,55 and multiman 2

- Downloaded it (fast!)
- Copied it to my PS3
- Opened it and...
ALT 1. Restarts the console when i update the game
ALT 2. When I dont update it just keeps on loading and loading for ever without anything happening (No HDD or RAM lights flashing from the PS3 nor the Ext HDD).

I tried both internal and external

Select + X in Multiman tried already? Permissions fixed?

If that doesn't work delete the update via PS3 Game Data Utility or similiar and update it through Multiman

Well that was really stupid! I forgot to delete the half update! Still though it doesnt work...
Permissions were fixed, and Select+X doesnt work either..

Yes now it does! THX! Select-X is the trick

So it works from external with select+x? If I would have known this, I wouldn't have copied it on my internal hdd.

Yes it does, at least it does on mine
(dont update >1.00 )

1. Press [ ] and set permissions
2. Press Select-X
3. Start racing

I must say that the game is freaking awesome!

Just a little question...
The XMMB is really corny/lowtech on my PS3, i tried with diffrent tv screens, but it never looks as good as the real XMB. Is there a reason why? Because its quite hard to read the text now.

Having the same issues on external HDD > getting F1 splash screen and loading...and loading....and hanging there. Would like to try suggestion of patching but, can only find patch 1.01; any hints on finding patch <1.00?

If you play from external you need Multiman and play it with Select+X

thanks but, I tried launching within MM by moving cursor to F1 game (USB) and hold Select+X > XMB opens up > navigate to */app_home/...folder and run by hitting X > F1 splash screen, loading....loading...and hangs.

Wondering if my BDEMU2 3.55 pkg is messed? Restored system from backup 'image' a fresh 3.55 kmeaw install, installed MM2.00.03, lv2 pkg fix and that's it. Interesting thing it I've run the game successfully from, I think the external drive, with the original game disc in the BD drive. Just when I pull the disc out and run from the */app folder it does this symptom. Ultimately want to run discless (even tried putting game disc with another title in the BD drive but, same thing). ...con-fused and need help. If it matters US version F1.
