F1 2010 any help given would be appreciaited

I have just placed the F1 2010 on the external HD and using Multiman to load the game. I have a ps3 break with version 1.7 firmware on it. I have read on many posts in this excellent forum that F1 2010 will work from the external HD but all I get when I try to load the game is the opening title saying game loading and it just hangs there.

How can I get this game to load, if anyone could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it

From what i know, it doesnt works on external hdd. I have read on some compatibility lists too that it hangs on loading screen when tried on external.

Ok, if this is downloaded it might be a bad rip. Also, I needed to USE Hermes V4B with mem patching on.

I also had to change the default install location to OMAN rathen than Gamez. In Gaia manager you press start+select to do this.

I can't remember if I'm running it from internal or external but either way I had the same problem as you until i changed the install path

How do I run the Hermes V4B I keep reading about, I am using PS3 Break running v1.71 firmware. I have looked everywhere to find out how to use and install this Hermes V4B but have come up with nothing yet. If you could give me an idiots guide or show me where to find the guide I would be most grateful

Just saw your post, sorry for the late answer. Your 1.71 FW ps3break dongle has hermesv4. You dont have to do anything. As i told you before, F1 doesnt works on external from what i read on lists. So stop trying that and please play on internal.
