External hard drive - max size etc
External hard drive - max size etc –
bought a seagate expansion desptop drive 4tb to find it did not work, on searching found an article that said maximum was 3tb, so bought a 3tb model.
sill not recognised.
both usb 3.0 nd ntfs
what is the max capacity?
is it possible to make a 4tb into 2 x 2tb?
thanks for your help, not sure if posted in right section but sure will be corrected if wrong.
You need to format them as FAT32 for the PS3 to see them. It doesn't matter what size it is, a NTFS drive won't work.
half-arsed lazy modder
will reformat to fat32.
do you know if they is a max size and if so what is it?
If there is a max size i think it is 2tb. Even if this is true you can just partition a 2gb for fat32 on you ntfs drive
