So I downloaded a games and installed it to my HD, I never got the game to play. and I installed each of the three gaia's, one time I would put a game in the ps3 the CD would be read as call of duty black ops, a game I was trying to start. but then I would click the CD and nothing would happen, I'd get this error.. It would look like its loading and then meh.. no go.

It is my understanding that each version of Gaia corresponds to the folder you put your game in. So for instance, if you install the GAMEZ Gaia. All of your games must be in the corresponding GAMEZ folder. Also depending on the backupmanager you are using(not sure how gaia works, I use multiman). You have to run the lv2 patch package first everytime you turn on your ps3 before you run a backup manager. Im using kmeaw 3.55 not sure about you

using same firmware, I just downloaded multiman, seems better and less cumbersome.
I dunno if it matters once the console is jailbroken, but i have a 160 gig model.

Im using a 60gb, dont think it matters. Are you still having problems with it? If so, here is step by step what i did.
Backup game to HDD
Put in any ps3 game disc in the blu-ray drive.
Load up the lv2 patch pkg
Run multiman(i believe im at the latest version 1.14)
Click game I want to run
(When asked if you want to run without going to xmb, hit no)
Load up the backup game (in my case its red dead redemption).
Never had any problems with it.

these forums arent for downloaded illegal copies they are for legal backups im surprised a mod hasnt said the same yet. the problem you are having is likely to be a modified eboot.bin or param file if you cant get it to boot look for a unmodified eboot and param. i only have just gotten a ps3 in the last week and ive found everything i needed in the forums by using its search function.
