It's only me or Enslaved isn't compatible with the eboot modification method for 3.55?
Tried some times and only got a black screen, I followed every tutorial out there, and nothing, even tried different versions of makeself etc
Here's the Eboot:

If anyone can do a PKG please share! Thanks!
Enslaved is going to be tough one to get working because not only does it have a new patch out but it's one of the few PS3 games that require a mandatory install.
Thanks for the info, at least I can stop trying to make it work :-)
I wouldn't give up hope just yet, riku.kh3 got the Japanese version of Atelier Rorona running which requires a mandatory install and Deathnetworks got the patch for Tomb Raider Underworld working.
Just have to wait for someone clever that has a copy of Enslaved lying around.
I made a pkg with AUTO MOD TOOL.
Get black screen.
I then move the file FROM USRDIR to UNREALENGINE3 and the game start but block at the first savegame screen...
/dev_hdd0/BLES00989/USRDIR/UNREALENGINE3 is where I put the data files...
Hope this will help
I've been messing around with this for days.
I have done the method of installing it to another directory then loading it up, only once have I managed to get a screen saying "this game requires certain amount of disk space to install" then it closed me out. I haven't been able to replicate that method yet.
I have also moved the files to the UNREALENGINE3 folder and have the game freeze at the save data screen.
So I decided to give the demo a download and try that method of switching eboots. Downloaded the demo, replaced the demo data with full game data, switched eboots, loaded the game up and it crashed at the save data screen. So it got me to thinking, what could the game possibly load after that, well in the Binaries/NTJOBCODE/PS3/SUBMISSION folder there's a file called NTJOBCODE.PPU.SPRX.
I put the demo SPRX file into the folder with the full game files and the game loaded. There was no demo title screen but the full game screen, I was in there, playing the full game, except for two slight problems, it doesn't save the game at all, and it doesn't aknowledge trophies.
So going through the decrypted retail eboot file, I've found that it makes calls on the SPRX file, which unfortunatly there is no way to decrypt to edit. At least for me, since I'm running 3.55-jb, I know there's some prx decrypter homebrew out there for a lower firmware, but I can't run it.
I've tried mixing the demo SPRX file with the retail but that's a no go. Another thing I've seen is that both the demo files have NPDRM. So that could be a cause of it.
And one more thing, I've noticed on geohot's github, the readme states
Plus while looking through the code of make_self, I've seen quite a bit "ifdef SPRX" throughout it, which leads me to believe that we can use the make_self program to encrypt SPRX files, but it's useless on ones that we can't decrypt. So I think until we can work with the prx files that games have, it's going to be a hard road to run some backups on the current CFW that's out right now, but I could be wrong.
be sure the elf you are make_self_npdrming is sprxlinked
Then again, I am currently looking through a decrypted eboot file in IDA viewer, maybe just editing the paths in an eboot isn't enough since I see the dev_bdvd calling on different subroutines than the hdd0 commands in the game. I could be wrong there since I'm no expert coder hehe
But those are my findings so far.
EDIT: It would appear I was wrong, it is possible to decrypt SPRX files with unself in the ps3 tools.

Reason: Moment of dumbassedness
I must say, you tried even harder than me, I downloaded the demo too, but I got really upset with it I stoped doing anything with it... at least I got other games
Man, good work, I hope we ll find a way to save the game !!!
Bumping this. Hopefully someone can get it working.
