EBOOT PKG on 3.55
EBOOT PKG on 3.55 –
02-04-2011,08:27 PM
Long story short, I want to play my COD:BO backup because I'm moving and packed ALL of my games into a box and shipped them. Now, I obviously need a game in the drive to play this backed up game, so I was looking at making an EBOOT PKG as an alternative, to play as an HDD game.
I did create the PKG using PS3FOXX (some french GUI tool), but I have no idea where I need to put the files from the game, since this tool never says what the path should be, or give you an option to put it in yourself (I didn't actually look at param.sfo either). First of all, is there a "default" path this tool use (like maybe the GAMEID)? Will this method even work, specifically for this game, and on 3.55? Thanks for your help.

You may have to manually decrypt, hex edit, sign and package it yourself with this particular game because I don't think an auto tool would be able to do everything correctly anyway, as it really differs too much from game to game. I don't know what the default dir used by this program is, there is no info on the site you got it from or readme files included? I think there may be eboots for COD:BO on the site but you may have to search for it.

I believe all if not most of the EBOOTs have been removed from this site, as they are copyrighted, which means piracy
