One question about NFS Hot Pursuit,

the BLES00949 version is now working flawlessly but I recently noticed the races when you are supposed to drive a car without a collision otherwise it adds seconds to your final time are buggy because the penalty seconds are not actually counted to your final time

Is this a problem of the EBOOT or its just a bug in the actual game ?

Has anyone attempted to modify the NFS Hot Pursuit eboot.bin after the 1.05 update? If so, what was the result?

I know that there are a few people waiting because this update allows wheels to be used.

I believe something like that should be a game bug not an eboot.bin bug....

I used OpenSplit v1.2 to put it on my ps3 and it looks like this:



- Prince of persia 3D (BLES01092) - EBOT CORRUPT ARCHIVE, downloaded from HERE.

So guys simply question what do I wrong ?

All games have the same - black screen but not freeze - I can simply quit to XMB

I haven't tried GT5 yet (going to do thatwith my retail Euro disc tonight) but I tried NFS:HP last night for 5 hours using different managers and payloads. I downloaded an original param.sfo file, I even tried modifying it. I also tried patched and unpatched modes in the managers. Absolutely the same every single time, and that is that the game just goes to a black screen on boot. I confirmed that I have no update data and the param.sfo states only 1.00 version.

The only thing I can think of at the moment, is that I have a bad rip of the game, but then, there are a lot of people with bad rips which seems coincidental. I noticed that this is a game with a LOT of smal files. In fact, 18000+ (see my other thread) and it took a long time to copy accross, although it did not have any errors and compelted successfully.
When I hover over the game in the XMB the video of what the game is runs. Do you know what I mean? Like the little vid in the window showing a preview of what the game is. Mine has always ran, but when I click on the game to play it black screens.

NFS:HP BLES00949 runs no worries on my ps3break v1.2, running hermes,spoofing 3.55-replaced with the ebin here & left the .sfo untouched-even runs without disc -sux about rear view mirror tho, but hey-much thanx to those that made it even possible!

Rear view mirror? Whats wrong with the rear view mirror in the game? Don't get you?
