ok quick question. i'm on cfw 3.41. the guide you have is thorough, but is confusing me a little bit. maybe it's all the resin from years of staring at a screen all day and smoking pot but, when I drop game folder on ebootfix.exe does it create the entire game in another folder or just the modded files? and am I reading right that ebootmod makes a pkg and fixes the files or just makes a pkg? and by using ebootmod do I also have to use the tool on multiman or can I just copy the game less the eboot.bin to the directory after installing pkg? and if so when i run the tool (R3) in multiman it says it makes a shadow copy to 2 different directories, am I reading that it makes 2 full copies of the same game on my HDD? that could eat up space fast. sorry alot more than 1 question, but dying to dig into these tools but wanted some clarification 1st. I'd like to move all my games to the XMB, I have a 1tb hdd thats almost full so it's alot of games ..lol

I am trying to mod the cheats pkg for Ar tonelico Qoga using the unself from the first post, but I only get this error...
$ unself eboot.bin eboot.elf
invalid type: 00000008
perror: No error
some releases no patched.
CorleoneTR - thanks
rudiano - maybe for those who did a actual backup of their own game ? and didn't download it from the net ?
I haven't tried any fixes that I made from this yet but I did make a few and it only puts the modded files in the new folder not everything so you don't have to worry about the space the files it mods aren't big and then you can just drag and drop over the originals. All my games were fixed already so Im not sure if it actually works or not I am also on 3.41. When a new game comes out I will be sure to try this out first. I am also assuming without using the pkg files you will still use a backup manager like multiman to make this run.
