If you searched a bit, you would have found that these games (and CoDMW(2)) use some memory which is also used by the USB JB (clone) dongles. Therefor the game gives a black screen.

As long as you/we use dongles, these games WON'T work

EXCUSME If i use usb memory patch with multiman CoDMW2 and tomb rider works???

Ive been running with the JB from the start and have had very few problems.... I'm running a Minimus Atmel AT90USB162 and beleive I'm using the Hermes v4b payload.... also using the latest GAIA Manager | Open Manager

I tried the NFS eboot swap and it worked first time.... just tried the splatterhouse and Prince of Peria [internal] and GAIA Manager asked me if I wanted to fix the file to 3.41 in which I did...

When I launch the game i get the error 80028F14 which I think maybe payload related...

Q1. Which payload should I be using
Q2. Anyone come across this issue before?

I did a few searches but came back with nothing helpfull..

I'd appreciate some advice.

I just picked up a copy of SingStar Dance but found that it requires a fw update. Can some one please patch this to 3.41 is possible?

@reddevilmeuk, check if you have any game data installed for those two games. If so delete the game data and reboot and jb your ps3. I would also install that latest multiman and get the hermes 4b 3.50 or 3.55 spoof payload for your dongle.

thx, never played them before, so will hunt for the payload and test now.....

updated to hermes 4b 3.55 and get the exact same error message...... i'm tired, so maybe it's something very simple!

Even if you haven't played the games before, check that there is no game data installed - which can happen when you try to boot the games.

Edit: Delete game data, reboot, jb and have another go..

I'm wondering how to update NFS:HP properly to 1.01?

it seems like I can't play with the game update installed and I must play at 1.00. If I update to 1.01 it gives me the prompt that I must update my firmware, which is bollocks.
