Dynasty Warriors 7 Help please!
Dynasty Warriors 7 Help please! –
04-03-2011,12:14 AM
Ok, so i've searched the forums endlessly on here and some other websites and can not find a solution. It seems a few other people other than me have the issue on Dynasty Warriors 7 where if you pause and unpause the game will freeze and the enemy officers do not show up. This makes the game unplayable. I am currently running 3.55 kmeaw with Multiman 1.16.13 if you could help it would be much appreciated! Thanks.

Things goes the same with mine. I played the Shu campaign, the enemy officers won't show up while the map showing guan yu and zhang fei as the enemy. LOL, they keep trying to hit themselves and it looks pretty darn stupid! Pause and UnPause also free the game with Now Loading text. I used JB 3.41 with Open manager 2.1I launching the game from external HDD
However, I heard that there are two type of eboot fix circulating out there. one is using direct eboot.bin replace and edit param.sfo (for 3.41) with internal copy, the other one is using .pkg and multiman hit R3 and launching directly on the XMB.
I launched the game externally so I'm going to test it internally using the first method.

I would love to hear if it worked or not! I think i've tried both shadow and the direct eboot they both result in the same thing. Such a troublesome game!

dragoncurse,
It works! I use the first method (replace eboot.bin, edit PARAM.SFO to 3.41), then I copy the DW7 directly from external HDD to internal HDD via Comgenie file manager. No wonder it won't work in external. It has files over 4GB in there. I use Open Manager 2.1 I (without patch), console 3.41 JB version and it's working perfectly!
The enemy officers are there ready to be slashed, and the pause/unpaused action won't freeze the game anymore. I just play the game for a while, but hopefully there will be no other strange thing occurring to destroy the fun.
Cheers!
PS. No pkg file installation is needed and I'm not using multiman for the game. You can test it out if you want and do share your result.

Charles,
Glad to hear you got it working! If possible could you tell me which eboot you used? I would love to try it out asap but sadly I have to wait till this weekend since that is when I'll be able to tamper with the ps3. I will update how things go though!

Hello Dragoncurse,
To help you out, I've uploaded the eboot.bin to MF. Here is the link:

(substitute xx with tt)
Make sure to backup the original eboot in case something happen. Also make sure to change the PARAM.SFO from 3.56 to 3.41 using hex editor.
Good luck!

Dunno if i did something or not, but when i try to launch the game, i get a Black screen.
Also, i replace the eboot with the one you upload and then transfer the game. or should i do it after?
Also on the PARAM.SFO it said 3.5600 and i change it to 3.4100. is that right?
edit: Im using gaia manager or am i suppose to use Multiman?

Augh....so I tried using the eboot, editing the param, and using open manager but none of it seems to work. I now get a black screen when I run dynasty warriors instead of the game actually loading. Please someone help!
